Tomorrow is a very special day! June 1 is my brother’s birthday AND my husband’s birthday! Funny, huh? My brother is turning 16 and Jason is turning 24!!! And it’s 1. the first time I’ve ever been able to spend Jason’s birthday with him and 2. the first time we’re celebrating both birthdays together! Since everyone is working and whatnot, the REAL celebration is going to be on Saturday. But tomorrow is the actual day so Ashley and I saw fit to do some preparations to make the birthday boys feel special. (Hopefully neither of them are reading this…they probably aren’t…)
First stop was to pick up a little something for Jason.
We’re very pleased with what we got–I’ll show you tomorrow!
Then it was off to get some festive decorations!
You can’t go to Party City with a kid and not play around with some of their corny/awesome stuff.
Operation Birthday was pretty tiring so of course we had to get a little something to rejuvenate us along the way.
And then when we came home we headed straight to the “secret room” (as Ashley calls it, it’s my grandmother’s old bedroom) to do some top secret birthday projects, complete with top secret low lighting.
Can’t wait to show you the finished products of everything!
