Village Burger
Today was sunny and WARM, just like I like it! Even though we slept in pretty late we still got a lot done (and the day’s not over yet!). Today was my sister Ashley’s last day of school and she and my brother had an early dismissal so we all went out to lunch together! My mom suggested this place called Village Burger which is in Dunwoody, north of Atlanta.
This place was right up my alley. The burgers were all angus beef, and had awesome fresh ingredients. They even use dishes from recycled material (kind of like the ones Whole Foods uses) for serving the food. We got a seats in the covered patio area and enjoyed an awesome meal. I got a house burger with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, cheddar cheese and avocado (and a salad on the side).
Jason got a village burger with lettuce, tomato, fresh jalepenos, and cheddar cheese (with fries on the side).
If it looks delicious, that’s because it was. It tastes SO FRESH, and not greasy at all! One of the top three burgers I’ve ever had, for sure.
We’re going to go get some groceries for dinner (my first time making dinner since we’ve been back!), and then to take David to a sweet 16 party on of his friends is having. Things are mighty busy here!
Oh and if you are reading this Katherine/KJ, HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I LURRRVVEE YOUU AND WISH I COULD BE THERE IN PERSON!
Yeah she’s pretty awesome.
Thanks for reading!
