Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles
Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Since the day I got home my 8-year-old little sister has been asking me if she could do a blog post of her own, and I promised her that she could if she came up with her own idea and recipe. So she did! She did everything on her own, from picking the ingredients to writing the post (I typed, she told me what to say). Really, these are 100% her words! She did an awesome job, hope you guys enjoy it!
Hey, guys! Today we’re gonna switch things up a little bit. My sister Lauren said I could do a post, FINALLY! So on a very hot day I said “Hey, let’s do popsicles!”. We went to Target and bought some lemonade.
Which was Simply Lemonade. Aw, man. Those look terrific to drink too. Now I feel like Lauren because she shops and takes pictures and of course always smiles. ๐ There in the isle near snow cones and snow cone machines (and by the way, my name is Ashley) I saw popsicle molds! And then I said “Lauren, these popsicles are gonna be great.”
And then I said “Alright, these popsicle molds will work.” Then we checked out. We left the store.
Then I saw my neighbor Miss Abby in the parking lot! I almost couldn’t breathe because I was so surprised. Well that’s it with shopping. Phew, got that done. Then we went home and started on the popsicles.
Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles
- small bottles of Simply Lemonade (I got raspberry and regular)
- 2 sets of popsicle molds
- little pieces of strawberries
First, cut the small pieces of strawberries. Then put four or more pieces in the bottom of each popsicle mold.
Then put the lemonade in.
Put the sticks in the molds.
Put them in the freezer for at least 3 hours. When you take them out, you are going to put them in a tub of water for like one minute.
Then take ’em out and eat ’em!
They were Delicious (with a capital D). Well that’s it guys!
Thanks for reading and wish me luck going into 3rd grade! Bye!
