Honey, We're Home!
After a long drive, some rain, and a dinner at Quizno’s on the road, we finally made it to Georgia!!!
It’s so exciting to be here! Fall here is so different here than in the ‘Burg–I realized today that I hadn’t felt a pile of leaves crunching under my feet in so long! Love it! But of course, since it’s the day before Thanksgiving there is LOTS to be done. We have a to-do list of things that need to get done tonight to save us some work tomorrow.
And our house is FULL of groceries! We have greens waiting to be slow cooked…
pecans waiting to become pie…
and cabbage waiting to grow up into a casserole!
We’ve got a lot to do so I best get back to it! But before I go I wanted to share with you that Women’s Health Magazine is featuring my candied yams recipe on their website!
