I took pictures yesterday to post for WIAW today, but then I took pictures of what I ate today too! So I decided to run a double feature. Here’s what I ate Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lately the snooze button has taken priority over cooked breakfast. My go-to breakfast smoothie has strawberries, banana, orange juice, and protein powder. I had this yesterday and today!
Lunch: Moe’s on Tuesday, sandwich and salad today
Moe’s gave me a birthday coupon for a free entrée so we took advantage of that yesterday!
And TODAY, long story short, Emily was on her way home to DC and was passing through Virginia so we met her for lunch. We went to this awesome place in Petersburg called Brickhouse Run.
It was quaint, cozy, and had delicious food. I ordered the BB&T (brie, bacon, and tomato sandwich) and a side salad. Everything was fresh and awesome. I wish we had more places like this in Williamsburg! Small, quality restaurants are way more plentiful in other parts of Virginia like Richmond and Charlottesville.
Dinner: bang bang shrimp, ahi tuna, chocolate creme brulée and white sangria yesterday; shrimp and grape tomato pasta today
Bonefish Grill is great for any occasion! I had a delicious birthday dinner.
And tonight we enjoyed an old favorite: shrimp pasta!

Happy Belated Birthday! Bang Bang shrimp is my undoing. So so good! Ahi tuna always looks so good to me, yet I’ve never had it. This is a problem!
