Hey there, people! I hope your week is going well. I suppose I can’t complain, but considering that finals start on Monday…it’s fair to say that the grits have hit the fan. While we haven’t been the most productive, it’s hard to fight off stress during this time of year in law school no matter how hard you’re actually working.
We’ve been so distracted that we haven’t even bothered to put up the Christmas tree or any decorations at all. It does not look like the holidays in our house yet! We’re not in the spirit at all, which is unusual for us. We’re kind of in survival mode, and quick meals have been my savior lately.
Breakfast: breakfast sandwich (made from whole wheat english muffin, egg, canadian bacon, and cheese), little piece of a strawberry oat bar, homemade pumpkin spice latté
I’m still loving the milk frother I mentioned in my last vlog! I’m saving myself so much money by making these drinks at home. Soon I’m going to switch to gingerbread lattés!
Morning Snack: greek yogurt
Lunch: bean and white vegetable soup (leftovers from last week)
Afternoon Snack: bowl of cereal
Dinner: BBQ chicken wings, raw veggies
This was a perfect quick meal for a night that I have class! Pre-cut veggies trays can be a great convenience item when you’re in a hurry and need veggies for dinner.
Dessert: TOFFFEEEEEEE!!!
There’s 23 servings in the container. I’ve officially eaten the whole thing in one week. OOPS. Double oops.
Eaten while enjoying HOBBIT WEEK on the Colbert Report!!! Just when I thought I couldn’t fall in love with Stephen Colbert any more…
Thanks for reading! Maybe we’ll find the time to put our tree up sometime soon…

I know the feeling. School is the bane of my existence right now. I’ve been in survival mode for the past year and a half of graduate school. The meals are nice. I like how you are keeping them healthy even though you’re on the go.
