I know you’re probably tired of hearing about weddings and anniversaries but I can’t help it. Yesterday was our second, and today was my parents’ 25th!!! Now THAT is something to celebrate.
Jason and I before our anniversary dinner at Aria (yesterday)
Mom and Dad before their anniversary dinner at Restaurant Eugene (today!)
There’s love in the air at our house.
Jason, being my soul mate and all, got me an array of gift cards so that I can go shopping! They’re all perfect. Whole Foods, Sephora, T.J. Maxx, and Sally’s Beauty Supply will all be seeing me very soon. Look out. But enough of the mushy stuff–let’s get back to FOOD!
Okay so those aren’t Puffins but I forgot to take a picture this morning so just go with it.
Morning Snack: protein bar
Lunch: Doc Green’s salad (field greens, grilled chicken, almonds, cranberries, parmesan cheese, corn, poppyseed dressing), Honest Tea to drink
iPhone pic alert!
Afternoon Snack: bowl of muscadines
Dinner: lemon pepper and buffalo chicken wings, jalepeΓ±o poppers, potato skins, veggie tray with dip
In case you couldn’t tell from the menu items, this meal was made as a treat for Jason. I don’t have a lot of extra money to buy him gifts, so this meal was my anniversary present to him! A lot of manly and unhealthy food. He didn’t go near the veggie tray (at least I tried…).
No fitness to show you guys today because it was a rest day. Next week, I promise.
Thanks for reading!

YES, you would love them Lauren! There’s nothing not to love. It’s a grape that grows in hot climates but it’s WAY better than a grape. The peels are weird and inedible but the insides are SO AMAZING. I don’t know if they grow in Colorado but you should look in your grocery store! π
