Hello there from New Jersey! We’ve been very busy doing a whole lot of sitting around, watching television, and stuffing our faces. Jason’s parents are such gracious hosts and we’re excited to spend a week chilling out here. This post is coming very late in the day (it’s not even Wednesday anymore technically…) because Jason and I got a little carried away with our television watching. Let’s get to what I ate, shall we?
Lunch: smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread
Dinner: tilapia en papillote, baked potato, green beans
This fish in parchment that my mother-in-law made was so delicious! The flavor of the fish just really comes through when you cook it like this and it’s light and perfect.
And of course I enjoyed my veggies, too!
Midnight Snack: banana and PB on a piece of whole wheat bread, almond milk on the side
We watched some strange things today, including the second Twilight movie. I have to say that I actually do enjoy the movies, but I don’t take them seriously at all. I mostly enjoy the CGI and the comedy of the ridiculous script. But I am definitely on Team Jacob…just sayin. And speaking of awesome CGI, I feel that it’s my duty to inform you that the trailer for the first Hobbit movie was released yesterday.
You’re welcome.
Thanks for reading!
