Hello from Virginia! We got here LATE last night due to traffic and a GPS with a mind of its own, but we’re here so that’s what matters. Eating on the road is never good…sometimes there’s no options but McDonald’s for miles and miles. The Chick-fil-A for lunch and Jersey Mike’s for dinner did my stomach no favors. Good thing I had some amazing, healthy snacks for the road!
I got my box from my UK foodie blog swap partner, Emma of Sweet Tooth Runner!
Thank you SO much Emma, everything looks amazing and this is definitely stuff I can’t get in the States! She sent me some Trek bars,
Nakd bars, a Pulsin’ brownie, and a 9 bar,
some Bear granola nibbles,
Nairn’s cookies (SO GOOD, I was munching on them on the road…)
and some yummy fair trade Divine chocolate!
I can’t wait to work my way through these awesome treats!
It feels so nice to be home. We haven’t been here in months, so when we first came in the door I felt like it wasn’t even ours! But then I looked around.
I guess we do live here. Awesome. I missed my kitchen!
And I took great pleasure in filling our “cupboard” with the stuff we brought from Altanta.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and reunite myself with the ‘Burg’s Trader Joe’s.
Thanks for reading!

Yay, you made it! Gah, finding places to eat when you’re on the road can be such a nightmare. I went on a roadtrip last summer and had a few not so enjoyable meals at Denny’s and some restaurant in a gas station. Can’t wait to see you put that kitchen into use!
