Cranberry Almond Granola and my ABCs

Today wasn’t the most exciting food day for us. A LOT has been going on between school, job searching, health, and me getting CONTACT LENSES!!! I am so excited to finally have contacts. I feel like I grew up with glasses and it was just time to move on…But anyways…what was I saying? Boring food day. The only thing I made was some granola from this recipe at the Chocolate and Carrots blog. It was really good, the best I’ve ever tried. Mostly because it actually suceeded in making CLUMPS, which is the best part about granola anyways!

YUM! Now I have something to eat with my Green Monsters in the morning!

Recently I’ve seen the fun “ABCs” tag going around so I though it might be fun to do it. I don’t talk about myself too much on here so now is as good a time as any to change that. Here it goes!

C. Chore you dislike: All of them? Just kidding. Not really. All of them except for cooking.

D. Dogs: I never had a dog but I’m dying to get one! A Welsh Corgi, please.

F. Favorite color: Red. When I was little I was obsessed with strawberries and decided red was my favorite color. Hasn’t changed.

G. Gold or silver: Silver. I hate gold, not sure why. Except as eyeshadow.

H. Height: 5’6″

I. Instruments you play(ed): I had a dream to play the drums, mom told me I had to start with piano so I played piano for 6 years then quit….never touched a drum set. Haha!

J. Job title: Full-time law student, wife, daughter, and sister.

K. Kids: Don’t make me cry…none, yet…

L. Live: Virginia, and lovin’ it.

M. Mom’s name: Marlil (it’s a combination of Mary and Lillian)

N. Nicknames: Hmmm…Lala, Ling Ling, Laurie, LP, LoPro

O. Overnight hospital stays: One time for a sleep study because I had sleep paralysis.

P. Pet peeves: People telling me what I can and can’t do.

W. What makes you run late: Putting on makeup…just getting dressed in general.

X. X-rays you’ve had: My wrist a couple weeks ago because I hurt it…I think that might be the only time?

Y. Yummy food you make: Everything, duh! Just kidding. The most yummy things I make are probably rum cake, waffles, and pizza. Carbs much?

Z. Zoo animal favorites: Red pandas…and silver back gorillas of course!
