People look at Jason and I and assume that we’re an oddly matched couple, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We met each other when we were bright-eyed college freshman in 2006, both having come to the same school to pursue our common nerdly interests in Tolkien scholarship and medieval literature. It took us one day to become best friends, and since that day we knew we would be partners for life. Jason proposed in 2008, we were married in 2010, and we went to law school together and graduated in 2013. It’s been quite a whirlwind, and there’s no one else I’d rather be experiencing life with.
