Last DC Weekend

Now that we’re so close to graduating and moving away, I’m starting to realize all the “lasts” we’re experiencing. This past weekend was my last seminar class in DC (I was learning about the evils of campaign finance) and so Jason and I stayed the night to enjoy the city for a last time and hang out with my lovely girlfriends. We made it just in time for the cherry blossoms!

And we enjoyed a really fun night on the town. DC is so strange to me in that it feels lik 90% of the people there are between the ages of 20-30. I’ve never seen so many young adults in my life! It’s insane. And awesome. Makes me feel like us 20-somethings rule the world. We had a fun night involving skeeball, caramel apple shooters, and bachelorette sightings.

And of course while we were there I ate a ton of good food.

And you can’t visit DC without seeing some monuments. We did the DC side monuments last time we were here but this time we went across the water to see the Jefferson! SO beautiful!

DC is definitely a great place to visit. Expensive and crowded and full of crazy traffic…but still great. I really want to bring my family on a trip there someday! Until then we’ve got lots of great memories to hold onto.
