Meal Plan Monday: The Week of the Turkey

Hello folks! I’m pretty pumped over here because my post from yesterday is breaking my record of views in one day! There are over 2,000 views and counting, and that makes me pretty darn happy! For some bloggers that number is small, but for ME that number is huge and humbling. Thank you all SO MUCH for your support and for listening to the things that I’m so eager to share. If I could blog all day and all night, and survive that way…I WOULD! 😀 I love you guys.

In other news, it’s that time of the week again!

Since it’s Turkey Week, my meal planning is definitely not normal! We’re leaving here Wednesday morning to spend Thanksgiving with my family in Atlanta, and I plan to do my fair share of eating out while we’re there. Atlanta has some AMAZING restaurants and I can’t wait to be temporarily reunited with all that good food.

Here’s the plan:

Sundayfried chicken, candied yams, collard greens, cornbread

I’m glad I have documentation of the epic awesomeness that was last night’s dinner! 😉

Monday- husband stir-fry (he makes the best!)

Tuesday- Salisbury steak, buttermilk mashed potatoes, collard greens

I’m going to make a fresh batch of Pioneer Woman’s salisbury steak to go along with some leftover side dishes that we have, like those delicious mashed potatotes!

Wednesday- road food (we’ll be in the midst of the drive to Georgia)

Thursday- Thanksgiving FEAST!

I cannot WAIT! I look forward to the food ALL YEAR.

Friday- chillin’ with my homies, enjoying a fine eating establishment…

Saturday- Thanksgiving lefties
