Early November VA Produce

Times are crazy over here! I’m taking the ethics portion of the bar exam tomorrow (yes, AGAIN…the test seems to have a vendetta against me), I just accepted a part-time job yesterday (blogging about legal/news issues as an independent contractor!), and I’m trying desperately to catch up on schoolwork (which I’m VERY behind in). It’s the weekend, but it isn’t. In fact, it feels like a Monday to me. At least I came home to some beautiful produce!

Pictures are courtesy of Jason again because I was away at my externship in Richmond all day. It was my last official day! I loved getting some experience in health care policy, but did NOT love the 1 hour commute. Good thing my wonderful hubster knows how to fill in while the blogger is away.

This week we received a lovely fall bounty that included banana peppers:

garlic:

potatoes:

Granny smith, stayman, and red delicious apples (from Dickie Bros.–the same orchard where we just went apple picking! 🙂 ):

Green leaf lettuce:

And squash (I think it’s acorn?):

…and more! Another great share from Off the Vine Market.

Thanks for reading! I hope you’re having more of a weekend than I am.
