WIAW: Georgia Food

Well I think it’s safe to say that I’ve already gained a pound or two since I’ve been home. We have been having the most amazing food lately! None of it involved vegetables and a lot of it involved deep fried food and I am totally okay with that. 😛 I’ll get back to those veggies soon enough. Let’s see if you can tell any difference in the way that I eat here! Hint: you can.

Breakfast: Chick-fil-A chicken and egg sandwich on multigrain bagel, hash browns, coffee

Lunch: AWESOMESAUCE

We went to this little hole-in-the-wall Dominican place to pick up a lunch special to go. GOOD HEAVENLY LORD. Some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. You never know when you’ll find a diamond in the rough.

We got Pollo Guisado (stewed chicken), rice and beans, and plantano maduro (fried sweet plaintains…my favorite food in the world).

Dinner: chicken and spinach quesadillas

Dessert: milkshake!

My dad makes the most delicious shakes! This one has strawberries, bananas, protein powder, milk, and ice cream. Mmmmmm.

I’ve got to get to bed, I have an early morning ahead of me!

Thanks for reading!

Oh my goodness, I LOVE Chick-Fil-A!!! I went to college in North Carolina and then had one in the student center on campus. Can you imagine how unhealthy that would be?? It was literally a 2-minute walk from my dorm room. Ummm, say hello to the freshman 1 million!! Now that I’m back in my home state RI, I really miss it. Although it’s probably better for it to be cut completely out of my life than to have it tempting me every time I drove past one.
